Worked as a key developer on a number of high profile NZ clients including Student Job Search (www.sjs.co.nz), National Bank New Zealand (www.getamped.co.nz) and the Alcohol Advisory Council NZ (www.alac.co.nz).

Integrated several modules of the e-business initiative ‘EnableSMEs’ into a working system. Developed primarily with C#, Asp.Net and SQL stored procedures. Created a cleanly tiered application architecture. Used Java, XML, XSLT, XSQL and Python for system integration. Managed data migration to MySQL MaxDB.

Investigated techniques of artificial learning and machine intelligence. A hybrid Genetic Algorithm/Neural Network solution was built that successfully learned to balance an unstable upright pole. Developed primarily in Python/Jython. Scored second highest in year.

Assisted in the development of in-house call centre directory software; developed a workflow oriented interface with Swing and J2EE. Managed hardware rollouts and software updates. Provided users with desk side and remote helpdesk support.

Developed an interactive web-based training programme for the Amadeus travel agency booking system. Gained extensive experience with CSS and Javascript. Worked closely with the translation team on the English version of the project.
